Gender-Sensitive Educators MOOC (a massive open online course) is for teachers, educators, and teaching staff about gender-sensitive teaching methodologies and pedagogy.
About Course
The project was designed to build a European community to pay attention to gender-related issues and how to integrate a gender-responsive learning environment into concrete actions through the standardization process. With this European community, Checklists for Gender-Responsive Learning Environments were created and implemented in each partner institution to establish standardizations of gender equality in the education system. We made a digital and innovative teacher training course, Gender-Sensitive Educators MOOC (a massive open online course), to teach teachers about gender-sensitive teaching methodologies and pedagogy. With all this information and selected priorities, this project presented a ‘window of opportunity for strengthening gender equality within educational policy by benefiting from the critical competencies of the European Education Area.
The Gender-RLE-Gender-SE project KA210-SCH-493C327F aims to promote gender equality and inclusion within education systems and learning environments across Europe. Partners in Germany, Turkey and Greece will develop standards, resources and training enabling educators to implement gender-responsive practices.

-Develop standards for gender equality in partner schools.
-Create checklists for inclusive learning environments.
-Offer MOOC training teachers in gender-sensitive teaching.
-Gain input from youth focus groups.
