We choose to stay at Mellieha because it’s where there is the most beautiful beaches. However, it is really easy to move around Malta because what is amazing and incredibly convenient for us is the fact that Malta is only 316 km2 !
It means that by landing in the south of the island, at Malta internatial airport, even by choosing a lodging all the way to the north of the island you are only at 40min by car.
