Job Shadowing in Heraklion, Crete

A unique opportunity for professional growth in an inspiring educational environment

What is Job Shadowing?

Job Shadowing is a hands-on learning opportunity that allows teachers, school leaders, and education professionals to step into the daily reality of another institution. Instead of theoretical training, you get to observe educational practices as they naturally unfold — from lesson planning and classroom interaction to the way schools embrace diversity and innovation.

This direct immersion provides a deeper understanding of different teaching methods, classroom management strategies, and school culture. It encourages reflection by comparing familiar practices with new approaches and often sparks ideas that participants can adapt to their own context.

Beyond the classroom, Job Shadowing fosters meaningful professional relationships. By spending time with colleagues from another country, participants build networks, exchange perspectives, and lay the foundation for future Erasmus+ collaborations.
